Kimberly has worked for Excellent Ice for 5 years. She has many years of competitive skating experience at the National Dance Levels. She is hoping to share her passion of skating with all of her students and hopes that they will grow to love it as much as she does.

Figure Skating at Excellent Ice

This class will teach the students how to do single jumps, spins, stroking and footwork (putting skating movements together in a sequence).
We will also be teaching a solo which will be skated at a pop concert close to the end of the set for all of the parents and proud grandparents to see.

The students must be at a high level 3 according to our Learn to Skate program to participate (if you are questioning your child’s ability please
talk to our Head Learn to Skate Instructor, Kimberly Marfleet). They must have figure skates to be able to jump and spin. Students may
want to wear figure skating attire, but it is not necessary. Helmets are mandatory and kneepads are recommended.
